Mrs. Denise Porter
After 29 years of teaching in the Jones County School District, Mrs. Porter is beginning an exciting new chapter at Laurel Christian School! Throughout her career, she taught First, Second, and Fourth Grade, spending most of her years in First Grade where she loved helping students learn to read and grow academically.
Mrs. Porter is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from William Carey University. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Literacy.
She and her husband, Jared, have been married for 32 years and are active members of First Baptist Ellisville. Mrs. Porter is excited to join the LCS family and looks forward to teaching in an environment where she can openly share her faith and the love of Jesus Christ with her students each day.
Mrs. Chloe Suber
Chloe Suber is from Lucedale, Mississippi, and is excited to be joining the Laurel Christian School family. She graduated from Mississippi State University and Belhaven University, where she developed a passion for education and working with students.
She attends Mount Zion Methodist Church and values faith, family, and community. In her free time, Chloe enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family and loved ones. She is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging learning environment and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her students and their families during this new journey at Laurel Christian School.
