Supporting LCS

Giving to LCS benefits many in the Jones County and surrounding areas. Support from businesses and individuals is crucial to our mission. When you give to Laurel Christian School, you make it possible for students to fulfill their God-given purpose.

About LCS

  • The school was founded in 1982 as a cooperative effort of committed parents, teachers, and the First Presbyterian and Trinity Presbyterian Churches of Laurel. The school was later entrusted to Audubon Drive Bible Church (Lower School Campus - K2-6th) and Westminster Presbyterian Church (Upper School Campus - 7th-12th).
  • We are an independent school and are dually accredited through MidSouth Association of Independent Schools and Cognia.
  • LCS is a non-profit (501c3) organization and does not receive funds from the Mississippi Department of Education or the U.S. Department of Education.

Our mission:

The mission of Laurel Christian School is to provide a comprehensive education, distinguished by a Biblical worldview, which is conducted in a Christian environment. The product will be graduates prepared for college and life who are equipped with knowledge and wisdom necessary to glorify God and to serve the world as Christ’s disciples.

Investing in LCS - Scholarship Fund

Investing in Christian Education Through the LCS Scholarship Fund

At Laurel Christian School, we believe Christian education is more than academics, it is discipleship. Every day, students are taught through the lens of God’s truth while being challenged to grow in knowledge, wisdom, character, and faith. Our desire is to help prepare young men and women to fulfill the calling God has placed on their lives.

For many families, providing a Christian education for their children is a tremendous sacrifice. Parents make difficult financial decisions because they deeply value an education rooted in a Biblical worldview. They desire an environment where Christ is honored, truth is taught, and students are encouraged to grow spiritually as well as academically.

As a ministry supported by families, churches, businesses, and community members, Laurel Christian School invites you to partner with us through the LCS Scholarship Fund.

Your contribution can help make Christian education possible for students and families who otherwise may not have the opportunity. Donors may choose to contribute toward the general scholarship fund or sponsor a specific student or family in need.

Gifts may be given:
- Monthly
- Yearly
- As a one-time donation

Every gift, regardless of size, makes an eternal impact.

Laurel Christian School is committed to providing a comprehensive education distinguished by a Biblical worldview. We strive to develop graduates who are prepared for college and life, equipped with the knowledge and wisdom necessary to glorify God and serve the world as Christian disciples.

We ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us in this mission. By investing in Christian education today, you are helping shape the next generation for Christ tomorrow.
